About Us...
Established over a decade ago, The UCL Spanish and Latin-American Society was built on the premise of being a welcoming place for Spanish-speaking students across the globe and anyone interested in immersing themselves in our traditions and language.
We are firmly driven by our passion of constructing a close-knit community that over the years has welcomed and guided many students throughout university.
This upcoming year, we have constructed a highly ambitious team that will continue to deliver, and enhance into what the society can offer to all its members.
Why Join Us?
This year we have redesigned the society. Be prepared for a multitude of events and 'fiestas', a polished academic journal as well as rigorously designed Spanish-speaking classes and virtual learning facilities among others.
All this we offer alongside an emphatic host of other cultural events, conferences and socials, where we hope to offer plenty of opportunities to meet some new and interesting people from all over the world.
We offer two memberships: the Social Membership (£5) for those interested in coming along to our organised events, and the Full Membership (£10), which includes being able to take part in our weekly Spanish classes.
